Bible Reading

For some time now I have been neglecting my Bible reading, but recently I read a novel by Beverly Lewis. After reading this novel, I realized that I really need to get back to my Bible. Yesterday I was reading a chapter from Galatians. I came across this verse: "For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another." (Galatians 5:13) This verse really struck me because I find myself constantly wishing for more freedom...more free time especially. So, here I am on summer vacation from my job, and I find myself not doing any of the things I wished I could be doing in my free time. Thinking on this while reading the above verse, I wondered about the true nature of "free time." Do we really ever have free time, or should we be praying and asking God what to do with our time? After asking myself this question, it really made me wonder if I wouldn't feel better about my day if I would just pray about it first. I mean if I spent my day doing what God wished for me to do, would I feel more fulfilled?
