Project 365-Day 28

Day 28-So, some how, in the wee hours of the morning, I punched/scratched my eye REALLY bad! It's been sore all day. I got the diagnosis this afternoon. Antibiotic drops will be necessary this time. Yes, unfortunately this isn't the first time I've scratched my eye. #foureyedproblems

Yesterday I made a King Cake from scratch with my bread machine. It is delicious!

I completed this bad sketch. I really need to draw more. My kiddos would definitely benefit from it at school!

Day 22:

It snowed here last night and blanketed my neighborhood and most of the state in a beautiful white blanket. It's probably the nicest we've had in a while!

Project 365-Day 15 & 16

I forgot to take a pic for day 15. So, I took 3 on day 16 to make up for it. 

The first one here is of a cup of coffee I had with my mom at Cracker Barrel after a cold day of grocery shopping. 

Later in the evening, I tried for the third time to bake bread in my bread machine. This time I really thought it'd be a winner because I switched to bread machine yeast.

Nope, I ended up with crater bread again! I'm not sure what to do about this, but I'm gonna research it some more. 

Project 365-Day 14

Today was a LONG day. I left home around 7:05 am to head to work. Then, at 3:45 I had to head out to grab a quick meal before having to be back at 4:45 to help out with our MacBook distribution. So, I treated myself to some yummy Hastings coffee. I wasn't done tonight until 7:47.

Today, I got new tennis shoes and socks! Yay!!! I found some on sale at the asics outlet. So, glad, because I needed new ones really bad!!

My husband and I thought we were going to drive over and scout out campsites, but unfortunately all the corp of engineer grounds were closed. But, we saw some awesome little waterfalls like this one along the way in the Ouachita National Forest. Here are a few other pics I took:
